This summer I will be exhibiting my watercolours and oil paintings of the Haute Route and Alpine scenes at two hotels.
At the Hotel de la Couronne in Argentiere, 28 Rue Charlet Straton (where many parties start the Haute Route) there will be a display of watercolours and small oil paintings inspired by spectacular landmarks like the local Glacier du Tour. At the Parkhotel Beau-Site in Zermatt , Brunnmattgasse 9 (where many Haute Routes finish) there will be a selection of large watercolours evoking the amazing views of the Haute Route, like an early start up the glacier with a inky sky shot with stars, and paintings of other alpine regions – Grimentz, Piz Bernina and the Ortler region in Italy. The exhibition at the Parkhotel Beau-Site has been extended to April 2012.
